Så er der skatkammervin fra Saint-Julien! Hold da fast, se lige den anmeldelse som Château Lagrange får med på vejen af det schweiziske vinmagasin, Vinum. Udråbt som et af årgangen ”best buys” og på niveau med ekstremt dyr 1. Cru Classé. Så kan du næsten ikke få større blåstempling!
Efter snart 15 år på fad og flaske er denne Saint-Julien-skat ved at være perfekt drikkemoden, om end lagringspotentialet af så stor vin snildt kan række helt frem til 2030-2035.
Château Lagrange regnes i dag for at være blandt de bedste slotte i Saint-Julien. Det skyldes ikke mindst enorme pengesummer og winemaker-ekspertise fra Michel Delon, der kommer fra 2. Cru Classé Léoville-Las Cases. Den ikoniske vinmager har store ære af den succes som i disse år tilfalder Lagrange.

It reveals notes of boysenberry , cassis and hints of gray pepper associated with touches of crushed raspberry , hints of spices as well as a slight hints of cuben pepper and licorice stick. The palate is fruity , mineral , well-balanced , elegant and offers suavity , fat, tension a slight straightness , a slight structure, gourmandise as well as harmony . In the mouth this wine expresses notes of fleshy blackberry , plum and fresh / fleshy raspberry associated with discreet hints of red berries as well as woody hints / chocolate and slight touches of caramle . Good length and persistence.”
